Root [Boost Mobile] Wifi not working

I updated to v.06 build.prop...now my wifi isn't working. It says connected but I can't surf web or download anything.
Any ideas?

Two things could obviously be amiss here...

1) The wifi itself is somehow flawed. If you're near some public networks, try connecting somewhere else. I had issues with my Warp connecting after I flashed a little ROM, and almost thought it broke on that too...

2) Can you downgrade to your old build.prop and restart your phone? Okay, this is probably the second thing you should try doing, since it's a bit harder.

No its my home wifi...so that's not it. The 3g tweaks on the new build.prop are great and my phone is much more responsive. Just no wifi

How do I revert back to the old build.prop? I did do a backup in CWM before I replaced it. Do I just restore that?

If you can look onto your SD card in the clockworkmod/backup/ folder, you should be able to extract just the one file too... Otherwise a full system restore wouldn't hurt, but wouldn't really help indicate whether the problem was really caused by a bad build.prop.

Tl;dr restore it.
