Root [Boost Mobile] Wifi tether

I think I found a way to use wifi tether as a hotspots.
First- download n install wifi tether from the play store

Second- goto settings n choose device profile n select zte blade

Then goto setup n choose softop
 
if your not rooted then no but if your rooted you can use the app "barnacle wifi tether" and that will turn your phone into a wifi hotspot. hope that helps ^.^
 
i have but i use barnacle wifi tether used it on all my devices cant you use foxfi if your not rooted? or is it only for rooted devices to?
 
Foxfi freezes my phone every time id recomend barnacle i wish the reg wifi tether for root users would run right on my phone
 
Nah i cant remember it was a beta and i just switched.to unitology sunday and it runs great but i havnt tried my barnacle yet i probably will some point in the morning
 
root your phone then install wifi tether (root users) from the googl play store and there you have it,hotspot for the zte.barnacle didnt work for me and foxfi is not compatible.if you want wired tether use pdanet 3.50.
 
Barnacle worked well for me last night. I even played a few minutes of Diablo 3 with no noticeable difference in lag from wired broadband.
