Well, this is annoying... trying to revert to my backup of its original factory ROM, and it is giving me some MD5 error and aborting. Is there a pure stock ROM to work with?
click the #1 at the top of your screen on the computer
stock ver is mentioned on the very first page of this thread.
read careful and slow and make sure you understand everything before diving in as for the
the directions are easy and simplest to understand thanks to Good Sir Wetbiker has made everything
simple and easy to understand.......
make sure you have everything needed for install and sometimes it don't hurt to go back and read 3 x
familiarize yourself of exactly of what it is that you are doing to your phone, not just whip this and whip that.. this way it will make it easier for you to go back and make the changes that you need to make in order for it to work for you..
if I Am not mistaken ? for everyone in here
isn't there a md5 checker that checks the integrity in phils I think I remember seeing this in there under phils settings take check mark out of "check md5" .
I had the same problem under settings of phils and turned it off so it wouldn't check the integrity of the md5 though it is highly not advisable to do because it is there to help keep you from ship wrecking your phone. but back when I was semi new to the roms and such forth I just did it and got lucky..
well hope that helps you out just make sure you have a good download of the stock ver.
though it may be good at the source doesn't always mean its good at the destination.
make sure you don't run any heavy system programs while downloading and this should help you out.
Sometimes if they have updated that file or the server you may have to delete your history for the new changes to take an effect. this is also good idea as I mentioned over on Good Sir Phases post's and is now one of the recommendations if you're using chrome on your pc this will also help clean up some of your errors cause it is accessing the old system files that are not there.
Cheers everyone enjoy.
all else fails just click the alt F4 buttons and call it the night! lmao...
