1) Browser
2) Music Player
3) Message program
4) File Explorer
5) Photo app
6) Alarm
7) app installer/uninstaller
8) news or rss reader

Doesn't matter paid or free I would just like everyones opinions....Thanks!!!

1) Browser- Stock. I can't find a stock version that has desktop mode for warp.

2) Music Player- Poweramp. Nothing better for folder view (I can manage my own files thanks), lock screen widget, FLAC support and tag editing on the fly.

3) Message Program- Stock modified MMS by Merc! Best I have used for GB end of story:)

4) File Explorer- Root Browser is my fave, but I would like the option to replace or keep both files when doing batches of copy/paste, and the ability to turn off r/o or r/w. Next would be root explorer. For non root stuff Ghost Commander hands down. If they could implement root, it would be the end of my search.

5) Photo app- Quick Pic. Stable and functional.

6) Alarm- Alarm Clock Extreme.

7) App installer/uninstaller- Titanium backup.

8) News or RSS reader- Pulse- I like a visual mosaic and the ability to customize my feeds. I use this and twitter (Plume or Tweetcaster) for my news.

This is my favorite of os of course im on the winning team

1) Browser- Stock browser, I just like it more for some reason. Next would be Boat with an ICS theme, looks great :D
2) Music Player- Google Play Music, it makes the music louder than other apps without compromising quality. Poweramp is also good though.
3) Message program- GoSMS, it has nice themes for it and I like the popup windows because I can reply without having to leave an app/ game (probably just my laziness to move my thumb all the way down to the Home button :P )
4) File Explorer- The Root Browser included in ROM Toolbox Pro
5) Photo app- QUICKPIC, I just love the exclusion options
6) Alarm- Alarm Clock Plus
7) app installer/uninstaller- Link2SD
8) news or rss reader- none. Unless Facebook counts :o

I just wish that android had a desktop OS with support from more mainstream apps and hardware support that I use (and don't say Ubuntu- I wish somebody would make an android distro for desktop that ran off apk's like exe files on windows).

1) Browser- Dolphin

2) Music Player- Rocket Player(great equilizer)

3) Message Program- Stock

4) File Explorer- Root Browser

5) Photo app- Quick Pic

6) Alarm- None

7) App installer/uninstaller- Root Uninstaller Pro

8) News or RSS reader- None

1) Browser - Boat/Dolphin :)
2) Music Player - Rom Specific :)
3) Message program - Rom Specific :)
4) File Explorer - Root Explorer :)
5) Photo app - Quick Pic :)
6) Alarm - Alarm Droid :)
7) app installer/uninstaller - Titanium Backup :)
8) news or rss reader - None :)

00) Launcher
FTL!! (FTL FTW :)) I just like how lightweight and responsive it is. It has just enough features, but isn't not heavy and full of lag.

1) Browser
Boat, until they messed up the quick launch panel with things you can't change... now I like Angel, I just wish it was a little more stable and responsive.

2) Music Player
ES File Explorer, believe it or not. I just don't like how most music apps totally screw up my music's grouping - as was said earlier, I can manage my music just fine on my own, thank you. For in-car Bluetooth compatibility, I prefer Rocket Player. It's the only one I tested which correctly responds when you press buttons on your vehicle's head unit. I also might have to give PowerAmp a try. :)

3) Message program
Modified stock.

4) File Explorer
ES File Explorer... again! :)

5) Photo app
QuickPic for speed and stability, not to mention a host of handy built-in photo editing options.

6) Alarm
Stock works fine :)

7) app installer/uninstaller
ES File Explorer (yep, I do it the old fashioned way lol)

8) news or rss reader
None... =O

0) rom: Warp OEM, n00b
00) Launcher: Nemus

1) Browser: Boat
2) Music Player: Zimly
3) Message program: stock modified
4) File Explorer: ES
5) Photo app: QuickPic
6) Alarm: Alarm Clock Plus
7) app installer/uninstaller: Titanium Backup
8) news or rss reader: none

Forgot to put what I currently use mainly I wanted this out their so I could get suggestions of alternatives...

1) Browser - Boat -but I am with Merc on this one as I'm on his OEM atm but not a fan of angel either though

2) Music Player - Poweramp -I just like how loud I can make it even on my blutooth headphones which are normally quiet on other players

3) Message Program - stock modified

4) File Explorer - ES is my new fave thanks to OEM and Merc never would have found it

5) Photo app - Procapture and Pano

6)Alarm - Alarm Clock Plus (seems the easiest to comfigure and the huge snooze button is great)

7) app installer/unistaller - I was running AppInstaller EX cause it automoved programs to SD card but have since switched to Titanium Backup for stock removals and App to SD pro for moving stuff around.

8) News or RSS reader : FLIPBOARD , I cannot Reccomend this enough to everyone, aside from grabbing from twitter and facebook, you can also set it to check for article from Popsci to Extremetech as well as politics/science/technology you name it.

Forgot to mention with Flipboard you can also download articles for offline viewing for say...when your at the hospital or dentist and get no signal (can you tell I don't play games XD)

Launcher - ADW Ex
1. Browser - XScope Pro v6.50 (IMO none comes close, used all)
2. Music Player - Neutron MP (Audiophile grade)
3. Message Program - GoSMS
4. File Explorer - Root Explorer
5. Photo - Quickpic, Camera ICS+ (for panoramic)
6. Alarm - Alarm Clock Xtreme
7. App Installer - Titanium Backup PRO
8. News or RSS reader - Nothing really. Mostly a sports app dude. Bleacher Report

BTW, when the Play Store says an app is incompatible with my phone, well, they don't understand that I don't like that word. LOL So I use Aptoide to get those types of apps that are supposedly incompatible. Just a little tidbit.
