Have you made sure you are running the autoplay every time? That's what it was for me.. Also are your drivers installed correctly and usb debugging enabled?

Inbox me, I can help you via teamviewer if you'd like.
or hit me up on aim: n0ve

Yes debugging is on, and always hit run or auto play, when downloaded drivers, I extract here on winrar, sane as with warp drive, I hit windows on drivers, then scroll down to warp drive bat file, everything starts to run, waiting for phone to connect them everything fails, either I'm doing something wrong or winrar not working right,

It may be the adb/fastboot that's being used in the root files.. Try a more updated version. I'll have to link you to that tomorrow if you can't find it yourself first

I always get stuck on fastboot. And the only thing that solves needing fastboot drivers, EVER, is installing PDANer to my computer. To whatever you're doing and bloody install PDANet, then try again.

warpdrive won't work if your phone is on b08c, to root that version you need to first install cwm, then use cwm to root.

First, download this file and put it on the sd card of your phone, you will use it later to get root: SuperUser.zip

Second, to install cwm recovery, download this rar file: zte.rar

use 7zip or whatever tool you prefer and extract (unzip) the files on your computer.

Run the "- RUN ME - install cwm script" in the zte folder you just extracted with your phone connected and with usb debugging enabled, it should reboot your phone into fastboot and install the recovery and reboot into recovery.

After that, you can get root by choosing install zip from sdcard, choose the superuser.zip file from your sd card that we downloaded first and let it run, that will give you root and should say that it finished successfully.

If you are having issues with the computer finding the phone, try going into the dialer and dialing *983*87274# choose "at" and then use the back button to exit. Disconnect the usb cable from the computer and reboot, then reconnect it to a different usb port on the computer. Hopefully that gets you connected properly and you can start from the top again and get cwm recovery installed and get rooted.

Thanks to the threads I stole from, Woodstock and Snake are wizards!

I watched video on how to root after update, noticed it was for windows XP, I have windows vista is it the same downloads or a different method for windows vista, as in drivers, etc. Etc.

Fails on every step then restarts phone like intended. I'm hearing that my directory path is incorrect thru a different thread but no answer on how/what should be done to correct it. I'm using B01. Vista 64bit on PC. Why in the heck does this thing NOT root? Ugh

Update:
It worked......fiiiiiinally

Ok, anymore suggestions, installed USB driver, checked device manager, android phone, all drivers installed correctly and up to date, extract zte open it copy it ,move superuser to SD card it sometimes shows up above run me, pdanet is connected, I hit run me finds everything after 10 to 20 seconds it stalls, debugging is on, android shows up on phone, it says waiting on device, pdanet says connecting to phone, and nothing happens, I have noticed that when I download superuser it a explore file, not a zip file, when I reboot phone in recovery superuser is there but doesn't do anything cause if some signature or something,I'm running windows vista, any idea of wat I'm doing wrong or going on with superuser being a windows explore filen ot zip, isthis the

okay so I put easyroot on my phone and everytime i try to do it it says it was aborted???? I'm so confused, I have the ZTE warp

Hi! Welcome to our little corner of AF :)

rcjosie's advice should get ya fixed right up, but if not, what exactly is the error you're getting when it says aborted? If you could post the exact error message, we can give it our best shot :D

Also, you have the Warp, not the Warp Sequent, correct? Just double-checking :)
