boost or sprint?

Is this particular section for boost or sprint version? If this is meant for sprint can the mods please create a section for the boost version please. The reason I ask is because the versions are probably different so one thing may vary from the different providers. Thank you

Boost is owned by Sprint but it's not worth it. Sprint, depending on what you need, is the best value out there, price-wise, if you get 4G in your area and you use data. Do you only want text and calls? Boost, probably.

But if you want good service with not only voice and texting, and you have a couple people you could be on a plan with, you could do Sprint for $50 per person, and have truly unlimited data. The Galaxy S II, or Nexus would be great choices.

I specifically deal with Boost mobile phones. The reason for my OP was to clarify if this was for sprint or boost mobile. If I post topics it will be for the boost version. I don't want people to read what I put thinking it was meant for the sprint version just like I would prefer not to read sprint material because it does nothing for me.

I am wondering the same thing. Is it possible that both phones have the same firmwares inside and can be rooted the same way and share the same roms ? I think until there is proof positive there should be separate sections. This could become messy real quick. I am also a Boost Mobile person.

Well, let's see..hopefully you guys can compare this screenshot to your Boost phones...

(Mine is Sprint's version)

Not sure as far as hardware goes..I'd assume so, but then again, I've assumed before.. :p

Okay guys sprint was here first so im guessing its for both idc if you guys post roms and mods just label sprint or boost cause im a dev and im going to do that for my sprint marquees work thanks

Hello guys I own a Boost Mobile store in las vegas and I got the marquee the day it came out.

Now I rooted all the Boost and Virgin Mobile android phone before so I was sure this phone would be able to do the same.

I did a little research and it worked with the lg esteem root method.
http://www.lg-phones.org/how-to-root-sprint-lg-marquee.html

Now the correct drivers you need are here

on sik00 post.

I can do some testing on the phones too, if I brick the phone I can send it back to my Master Dealer no questions asked.

(since I am new to these forums I cant post links. So just copy and paste)

The screen shot from the Sprint Marquee is the same as the Boost Mobile one. So the development of the two phones should be identical in theory.
