Root Boost pushing PRLs?

I've noticed lately that my phone has been giving me the "out of service" and then "back in service" chirp at night for the last couple of days. Don't know why and it just annoyed me (waking me up)... so I switched the phone to silent mode.

Well, this time it happened mid morning at work (full signal - so it should never do it here). My phone screen came on while just sitting next to my PC. I caught the screen message... "System is updating your PRL" (or similar message)... and sure enough it then beeped the out-of-service then back-in-service beeps and said it the PRL was updated.

Funny thing is that I have left my PRL on Boost's normal PRL (61007) so it should have never needed any updating.

Do you think that Boost is doing this to everyone to try to get them off any Sprint PRLs they may have put on? Anyone else having this happen?

A friend and I were just talking about this . I reverted back to EJ06 and have been using AutoStarts to block the update . I run a Sprint prl and haven't been bothered with any update notification so far .

I also noticed a drastic change is service when switching from FA19 back to EJ06 . My 3g speed went back up and my phone quit losing signal .

I've read in other forums that Boost is working on fixing it's new update due to the fact that it is bricking stock phones .

I live in West Georgia and haven't had any issues with signal loss. I have FA19 with CM7 and run PRL 60683.
