Both ChickenMonkee and i bricked our phones testing this rom due to an accidental file(s) being left in zip. We both flashed this and booted fine but when we rebooted our phones they became one big hunk of brick. Doesn't go to download mode. Computer or any device rather, wont recognize it and when its plugged into the charger the red light doesn't even come on. At least mine is still under warranty so it will be going back to samsung on monday. No hard feelings katracho i just want everyone to know whats the hold up on the release of the new version. Im not angry about it. Its all part of the game. Ya win some and ya lose some. At least they'll fix it free. So be patient everyone it is a little late but it will be out as soon as katracho gets his phone back from samsung for the 2nd time.

Sorry to hear that guys. Wonder how much they charge after the warranty expires?
I'm testing it and it is going good. Haven't poked around in every corner but have not had a single fc or noticed any issues.
When I made my titanium back up I used the batch save all user apps and system data but when I restored I manually picked out the bare minimum I needed and rebooted several times during the process.
Haven't installed the oc kernel or a theme yet but played with both launchers.Everything works out with tethering with foxfi and PDAnet. Camera works better than last version.

It all boils down to an accident by katracho.He accidentally sent us a bad file. He bricked his phone the same way.
If you haven't had your phone for more than a year than it was still under warranty. Samsung wont do it for free unless it's still under warranty. Go ahead call and ask. If im not mistaken the phone hasnt even been out for a year yet. So basically im saying your phone was infact under warranty or they wouldnt have done it for free.

Yeah definately one of those shit happens things. I'm just looking ahead to the futere past thanksgiving when my warranty expires and I eventual do the same thing. When you are testing with your phone you have to be willing to mess it up or you shouldn't be doing it Just crossing my fingers and waiting my turn.

I contacted Samsung and gave them my imei and guess what?
WARRANTY!!!
I will be setting up to send it out for repair tomorrow, YAY!!!
I second the fact of no hard feelings to Katracho, it's part of the game. Read the disclaimers everywhere on this site, You know the risks! So I did it and can't blame anyone else, no guns were involved.
(Ok guy's, I said it like you told me to. Can I have my dog back now?)

i bought mine on black friday for $114 at best buy so i still have some time but its gonna be painful waiting so long to get my phone back and install roms and stuff again.@ Psycho

I have an acer a500. Kick a$$. Runnin. Tegraowners Jelly bean rom w/oc kernel, v8 custom bootloader. Also thors touch recovery 1.7.3. I love it.:smokingsomb:
