Root Boot animation creator (convert GIF to bootanimation.zip)

Hi everyone,

I made my first boot animation yesterday, and I'm feeling a bit inspired. Would anyone be interested in a program that converts animated GIFs into a bootanimation.zip package? Ideally, it would have a GUI with some options for framerate and other tweaks. It would be written in Java, and therefore compatible with almost any OS (Windows, Mac, Linux, BSD, etc).

Also, any suggestions for features?

One you could is support for different resolutions for different phones, I gotta feeling this program could be used by allot of people.

Alright, I'll put that on my list. I've actually already started coding it. I've run into a few hiccups, but no showstoppers.
