Boot Animation

I just updated and rooted my friends phone and would like to get rid of the god awful boot animation, last Sammy that I owned was the Intercept so any help would be greatly appreciated.

the apple smash one here worked for me. it's for the E4GT. I flashed several and some worked and some just gave me a black screen instead of a boot animation. phone still booted though. but these are for the sprint version so flash at your own risk. it turned out fine for me. there are others on xda also worth looking at.

Actually i figured it out, this is a mod that enables a Bootanimation.zip in "system/media" that other Androids use. samsung phones normally use "qmg" files for boot animations but this enables an actual .zip to be used, you have to flash an animation on that page first to enable the mod, but then you can use any "bootanimation.zip", i used my old custom boot that i used on my "LG Optimus Slider VM701"
