Root Boot animation

Does anybody have a quick guide for changing boot animation/sound on motion 4g?

find a boot animation thats 320x480 make sure its named bootanimation.zip if its not rename it and then with root explorer navigate to system/media and u should find a zip called bootanimation.zip make a backup of it jus add .bak to it now locate ur boot animation u wanna replace it with and copy and paste it there were the original is and change permissions to rw r r and reboot

You can make any song for animation sounds.. You just have to label it boot or shutdown animation and change the suffix to .ogg then change permissions.

Edit: it has to be placed in system/media/audio/ui

I'm on stock, but this isn't working for me as far as sound goes... Any more info?
