Help Boot error...

Hi all, my S2 just crashed after some auto updates of apps. Prior to crash, it went into flight mode and does not allow me to exit flight mode. Thus i power down to reboot the phone.
Now the phone boots till the S appears on screen and reboot again... endlessly...
I did not drop the phone nor any firmware updates...

Any advice please?
Anyway i can extact photo stored in the phone as they are of great memories value...

I had the same problem once. There maybe a simpler solution but I had to flash some new firmware with odin to sort the problem.

been reading the forum for the past hour and suspected it could be ram issue with my phone. This bring back memories of my old laptop which had bad ram and keep rebooting...

I tried clearing cache in recovery mode but still endlessly reboot...

flashing with new firmware? can we do it ourselves? i hate to do a factory reset which will clear all my photo content.

is there any thing such as a restore point similar to pc?

sry i'm very new to smart phone, S2 is my first...

Thanks for the advice, i will try flashing a new firmware. if it still fails, then i have no choice but performs the factory reset. :(

updates: now i cannot power on my phone. press n hold the power button for more than 10 secs but no use. tried using difference battery still the same. need to use cable to power up then the phone power button seem to come alive...

I'm a little stumped. What I've suggested worked fine for me so I'm not quite sure why it hasn't for you. Its looking like a factory reset is the way to go.
