Root Boot into recovery (TWRP) without computer?

As far as I know with TWRP you can only access it through adb and fastboot.

If youre looking for something where you dont have to worry about that, you should try 4EXT recovery, its FANTASTIC.

do i disable fastboot in the power options in settings first ?

You should, but it's not required (technically).

What "Fast Boot" in Power options does is act like hibernate in Windows. When you shut off the device with Fast Boot enabled, the phone never fully turns off and keeps everything in RAM so that the phone can boot up faster. Hence why they call it "fast boot".

How this conflicts with rooting is that you can't enter the HBOOT menu because the bootloader isn't necessary to revive the phone out of hibernate. So you can't interrupt the boot process. It's like a PC computer. When you first turn it on, you have the option to stop the boot to enter BIOS mode. HBOOT is nearly identical in that regard.

So, all things short, you must do a full shutdown. Either use ADB (or Quick Boot) to tell Android to reboot into recovery/bootloader, pull the battery, or disable fast boot to fully shut down. Then hold volume down before pushing power for 5 seconds. If you push volume down after pushing power, you may have missed the window and have to shut off the phone, again.

I turned it off because before fastboot would take over as soon as i touched the power button and i get pissed, so i disabled it and now it works like a charm
