Root boot logo not boot animation.. any way to change on zmax?

Any way to change the boot logo on the zte Zmax? I've seen the process for htc and motorola but nothing for our zte zmax
 
The metropcs and T-Mobile versions both have different splash screens. The metro one says powered by android and the T-Mobile one says zte zmax
 
Nah... I was able to change that .. mine is metro pcs and starts up with a gray screen that says android.. then went to bootanimation that was a metro animation and my shutdown was the zte zmax with black screen. I changed.metro bootanimation and the shut down animation zte zmax. But want to know where the gray screen android boot logo before the boot animation resides.
 
Im on metro so its the powered by android...I wasnt sure if it was editable without extracting it from the bootloader or not..my lg optimus m was like that
