I just tried to flash an i9000 OC kernel to my Captivate's PDA - whoops xD I had read they got it to work for Captivate and didn't realize I clicked the link for the normal i9000. Now I'm stuck in a boot loop of the AT&T logo. However, I can get to Recovery and Download Mode just fine, so this should be a quick fix, right? I'd like to know if I'll be able just go back to my normal OS, or will I have to reflash the ROM? I wouldn't mind, I tend to install new ROMs every month or so anyways and the only important stuff on it are pictures and such which are saved.
Also, whether or not I have to reflash the rom (especially if I do), what would the best ROM be for overclocking? And will I need a kernel? I just mean overclocking to 1.6 or 1.5 at the max, nothing huge, just so I can run some game emulators faster.
Thanks!
