I recently rooted my Droid X and attempted to flash the DXGB rooted decodex and have been stuck in the boot loop. I just updated the Verizon OTA software version 4.5.605 and have the newest GB. When I followed the instructions as listed on another android forum I attempted the reboot and have been stuck.
The phone powers up, goes through to the "eye" animation and then repeats the process. I attempted the "hard" reset powering the phone on and holding the home key. Then pushing both the volume up and down buttons together and selecting wipe data/factory reset. It tells me its complete but when I reboot the same thing occurs!?! I have attempted this 5-6 times to no avail.
Is there any hope for the device or do I have an expensive paper weight? Any and all help would be grateful!
