Help boot loop...(not rooted)

hi all!! this is my frist time posting under the X forums...but i've had a rooted D1 and now have a rooted SF.

my wife has an X...and she is having problems. she described to me this morning that her X is in a boot loop @ the red droid eye sreen. her X has not been rooted...all stock...

she has pulled the battery multiple times...and she can not get past the boot screen...

has anyone encounted this? fixes?

i really appreciate the help (in advance!)

I would suggest booting into recovery and doing a data deletion.

Yes, have here put the device into recovery mode:

1. Turn your phone off.
2. Hold down “Home” and press “Power” until the Motorola logo appears.
3. Release ”Power” and continue to hold “Home” until an exclamation appears.
4. Release “Home” and press the “Search” button once.
5. Your phone will now enter recovery.

then use the volume keys to navigate to and highlight the menu item she needs to use, then press the camera button.
