Root Boot Loop

So I was at work today and was listening to Pandora when my phone randomly shut off, I turned it back on and now I am stuck in a boot loop. I have pulled the battery didn't work. I can't get into the recovery menu because the phone will restart itself right when I get into the recovery menu....help please.

i've left the battery out for a while. it doesn't let me boot into recovery. when i try to it shows the picture of the incredible with a red triangle and and exclamation mark in the middle of it. i can get into bootloader but that is all i can do. it won't let me do anything else

so you unrooted? have you tried starting in safe mode? or doing a factory reset from the bootloader? if it reboots even in recovery, it may be a hardware issue, I'd try a new battery and starting up without the sd card.

i haven't unrooted, i've tried doing factory reset in bootloader and it will give me the loading screen to start it and then reset itself. i've tried with no sd card, i guess ill have to go to the verizon store to see if i can borrow a battery to test

if you have the stock recovery (red triangle) then you are probably unrooted.
did you do the suggestions in the link you posted?
