Root Boot Manager issues

I've installed 3 MIUI roms on my sdcard now with boot manager app, but for all the installations, I experience a few FCs, including with the theme manager, when I click on an online theme.

The home launcher also has low fps with high res graphics turned on, but this is 'fixed' with that option unticked. OCing doesn't really fix the lag either.

Btw, my sd card is a 32gb SanDisk class 4. The app's devs recommend class 6+, but since classes only influence sequential write speed (which I read somewhere isn't too important for roms, but random read/write is - slow sequential = high random speeds apparently), I don't see how this would cause any lag issues.

These issues aren't present when MIUI is my phone rom. How are your experiences with MIUI and boot manager app, or even with other roms? The app to me doesn't really seem to be worth it if the sd card roms aren't fully functional like they would be in phone memory.

Installed [ROM] MIUI+ 1.7.29 |V2.0||GTj94||01/8| - xda-developers, which is based on MIUI 1.7.22 instead of the 1.7.29's I tried before. No FCs with it so far, but still encountered a problem. My phone froze once after unlocking from lock screen, and had to take battery out to reboot it. It's been fine since that though...

I use Rom manager, which makes flashing a doddle! I don't know what boot manager is, but if you're having problems, try Rom manager! Just don't forget to wipe dalvik and cache if you're going to a new Rom!

It basically lets you have 5 roms at the same time (1 on phone and 4 on sd card), without having to restore/backup everytime you change with CWM recovery. So switching roms takes the duration of a normal restart. The rom in phone memory is your main one, which you use your phone's recovery for, and for the 4 sd card ones, you can't use recovery for them, but you have to use the boot manager app to do stuff you'd normally do in recovery.

I think the app's still in development, not 100% complete, so it's a bit buggy, hence the problems :(
