Root Boot Manager

Hmmm really? No radio conflicts? I can't get the radio on Virtuous Quattro to work for love nor money.
Ahh, I did mine by backing up my phone ROM, then installing Virtuous Quattro onto the phone via Recovery, then I backed that up imediately, then reinstalled my original phone ROM from my first back up, then installed the Quattro nandroid to slot 1. Complicated, eh!?

Having said that I couldn't get the VQ nandroid in slot 1 to boot, then you mentioned the large ROM thing, so I installed LC's ICS with that new setting, which boots fine from the SD card now that I have done that, but my original VQ nandroid still won't boot. I need to re-install my VQ nandroid into a new slot with the the large boot image set to on. It may or may not work. You could try the same method though, if it doesn't sound like too much hassle.

Yeah I managed to get the VQ ROM to boot both with install from zip and the nandroid using large boot img using ext4 however radio fails to respond unless using it as a phone ROM but will be trying Lord Clockans ICS build again tomorrow in its stead.

Another thing to watch out for...if your moving from Android Revolution to Absolution for example and you we're using extended controls on ARHD to control your net connection, ensure you transfer extended controls over to Absolution or any other slot ROM for that matter.

Reason being that Extended Controls uses a control method for your mobile data that blocks the apn to turn it off. This means that while your mobile data setting under both the Extended Settings menu via the notification bar on sense ROMS and the Wireless and Networks maybe turned on (ie the tick box selected) there is no mobile data connection active when extended controls has stopped it. Transferring then to a slot ROM without extended controls will be inhibited from accessing the internet until the extended controls widget is restored and data re-enabled. Which will stop Boot Manager working properly until it has a valid data connection.

New too Bootmanager. Have the lite version installed on my DroidX. I was curious about the loading of roms. I have AOKP as the phone rom and Vortex in my first slot. Can I keep changing the phone rom ( to try new ICS) and keep slot 1 as vortex for my day to day working rom.

Also can you back up either of the roms using clockwork recovery while using bootmanager.
