Help boot screen stuck on - help

hi all,

i currently have an issue with my desire hd

it is stuck on this screen, is there anything I can do to progress into a proper re boot/recovery?

the volume buttons will not allow me to scroll up or down to highlight an option?

help please



Ive tried the remove battery/sim card etc too

Hi, I have the same issue as the photo above, on my HTC Desire C, except that I have LOCKED in pink at the top of the screen. my down button doesn't work but the UP button does however the power button doesn't select any option. Could this be because the locked thing at the top of the screen. If there's anything you can do to help it would really be appreciated.
As my down button doesn't work I can't do the boot with the power off.

Hi again, well I read some of the other forums on getting the phone rebooted so pushed both the volume buttons and the power button and the phone has started, as if by magic! The phone is in safe mode which is written at the bottom of the screen so any advice on how get back on to a non safe mode, if that's wise? Thanks anyway for just being there.
