Help Boot Splash Static Screen color wrong need fix

I have looked everywhere for a straightforward procedure to change the boot splash image (not the animation, the static InfotMIC and images before the animation). The color is wrong (red)

Once boot is done that red seeps through on many app screens and video.

Does anyone know how this can be done, preferably without installing an entire new ROM?

I don't think changing the boot logo will help you. This sounds to me like you have a defective display or possibly a poorly seated display cable.
