Root Boot to recovery help plz

Hi i did the button combo, it goes to the LG screen , i press power 3 times then it goes to a black screen

plz help.

Your not doing it right. Turn phone off completely, make sure its actually off and not rebooting. Then hold the power button and both volume buttins until the phone vibrates then ONLY let go of the power button until a black screen asks you if you want to perform a factory reset. Press the power button 2-3 times. It should say confirmed, then itll boot into your recovery. Or you can get an app like quick reboot from the market or romtoolbox or rom manager
Edit: nvm, forget that text. Read too fast. Sounds like your recovery is gone. Download rom manager and flash cwm through the app, then try it.

i can't do that, i wiped and formatted all. i have no OS.

what do i do now?

You have no OS?

Press the power button. When you feel it vibrate, let go over the power button and press both vol up and down. i press it in the middle so I know i got both. Dont let go until the "reset" menu pops up. THEN press power 3 times. This will take you to CWM, assuming you have it installed.

That sounds next to impossible.... did you have cwm up before or was it the stock recovery you booted into?
