Root Bootloader Bypassed! Allowing custom Kernels!!

Z from XDA has cracked the bootloader...

...well not exactly. He has used a method which enabled him to bypass the bootloader and load a custom kernal

Z did this by bypassing the bootloader, enabling him to load a custom kernal. Only one custom kernal atm but more to come

Great news, now we need a ROM that can use the camcorder and others things that don't work so far, I wonder if it's hardware related or if it had anything to do with being stuck with SE's kernel?

most roms currently are with working camcorder now

Well that is good news then! I wanted to go through all that but at XDA it's almost impossible to find what you want, so many threads that are so long... I'll try to install one of the latest Cyanogen mod available.
