Bootloader unlock tool is finally here!!!

Use bootloader unlock at your own risk. Remember that you void the warranty, there are no custom ROMs yet, and you would have to do future updates manually instead of OTA.
 
I think I'm not gonna unlock until I see some ROMs or mods out there that are tempting. Once you do it, there's no going back in the sense that your warranty is gone and can't come back. So I'm gonna hold off until I see any development
 
I literally just got done putting ubuntu oneiric onto my prime (as a chroot, not a full blown install). Since it is headless, you have to use VNC to get a desktop, but it's actually not that slow. Considering I most of what I need to do is via CLI anyway, it is AWESOME. It's kind of nice this way, as the wife and kid still get to play their games and read their books in android, and I get to use it for work when needed. Works great until a full dual boot solution is in place.
