Root Bootloader unlocked!

Hello, I got the Bootloader unlocked on the LG Motion, all thanks to some exploits on the lg optimus F3!! I have it unlocked, but I ran into some problems. Everything turned out great and it took me days to finally get it to unlock, but the problem is that now my wifi doesn't connect! When I turn it on it says error I want to try a factory reset, but I'm scared I'll lose my unlocked Bootloader, please help! As soon as this and some minor bugs are fixed I'll release the details on how feel unlocked it, it's kind of difficult, but if you're willing to try I'll post it up when I have time ok :)
 
what have you done to verify that it is unlocked? a factory reset is not going to touch aboot partition. so i don't see how that would relock your bootloader if it's truly unlocked. factory reset only wipes /data.

adb shell
dd if=/dev/block/mmcblk0p5 of=/sdcard/aboot.img
will make a copy of your aboot on the internel sdcard

johnny, my man, by-name is so much easier to use. ;) And yup, a fact reset does nothing but wipe data, cache, and sd-ext if there is one. I'm not even sure the restore methods would touch it.

It's unlocked, I might be wrong but when I did it, I got a black screen with some words and it said "fast boot mode" also in the bottom it said secure mode on and below that it said "lock state: unlocked" so correct me anyone if the Bootloader is or isn't unlocked? :x

Could you show us a picture or somebody confirm this? I don't mean disrespect but we've had fakes in the past and iI dont want to get excited for nothing

easy way to test, provide what/how you did it and I will attempt it. Or flash CWM or a modded boot.img w/o loki'ing it and see if it boots.
 
I think he gets the loki black screen...you know.....the boot loader bypass black screen after a reboot

Ok sir please don`t come here and pull our chains...Not cool as there is people working on this and you state that you have it unlocked...Please give any info you have on how what you used to do this to pg..Oh and sorry if your not pullen chains :-)
 
Not quite sure why everyone is getting their hopes up or getting discouraged. If he is blowing smoke then nothing has changed ;) we still have loki ;)

basically my thoughts on it, if its true, great, if not, use loki, its not hard to use, and gives all the same benefits. ;)
 
So i see his account is disabled.....does this mean he was full of it?

PG loki is ok but having the bootloader unlocked would be so much better and would it not open more doors for roms themes etc...

not really. anything you can do with an unlocked bootloader, you can do with loki. i guess theoretically it's possible we could get an official cm with an unlocked bootloader but the motion is an unloved overlooked device so i doubt that would happen either.

Underloved and overlooked is right.. All this development and the 'other' site doesn't even have a section for it.. Damn shame

xda has a poll to add devices, there needs to be a sizeable number of users who vote for a device in order for it to be made. i doubt there is 500 people with motions who mod at all, let alone on xda hoping for a forum. if anything the sgs3/4 would have a forum long before this device.
