That depends on the phone and the current software.

You'd have to flash (typically via fastboot) a new bootloader.

Just a caution: I believe I'd seen/read that sometimes reverting to an older bootloader isn't "good" (compatible) on some devices, so do your homework / research (of course) before attempting this.

Is the bootloader and modem the same ?

Is the bootloader and modem the same ?

No. In very basic, laymans terms, the bootloader kicks off the boot process, performing various checks before it allows your system to boot.

The Modem is the phones radio. It's responsible for cellular and wireless signal etc.
