Root Bootloop - Bricked?!

Hey everyone,
My brother has a Fascinate that was rooted and running the stock image with the DI01 baseband. He was getting an OTA notification and after trying to install it several times (he kept deferring it for a day and was getting annoyed with having to do it every 24 hours), it failed every time, just like we thought it would. So after doing some research online, we tried to update his phone to DJ05 using Odin. The phone rebooted and said "wipe_data failed" and went in a bootloop. We then tried flashing the stock restore images - system, kernel, and recovery - and the error message and bootloop was the same each time. We've run out of ideas. Can anyone help? Thanks in advance!

Did you install CWR with ODIN? If so, you can try using the all in one fix below.

Thanks for the replies. Found that page but can't download the DI01 file...the link's bad. Do either of you have it and some way to host it??

Nope, can't get into recovery. Can't get past the fail messages before it goes back to the Samsung screen and loops over and over.
I'm pretty sure we've already tried that file but I'll see in the morning. Merry Chistmas all!

You don't need to get past the screen you can get into clockwork from the phone turned off. Just hold volume up and down and press power button at same time
