I was just trying to install BB rom, and got stuck in a bootloop. What might have caused that? Shoud i have cleared cache and wipe data?

If you came from another ROM you should always wipe.

Some recommend going into clockworkmod (if that's what you're using) and wiping each 3 times...that's not what I usually do unless I am troubleshooting.

I won't wipe three times regardless. I will make sure to wipe everything, though, when swapping ROMs - even if it is the same ROM. Wiping boot, system, data and cache keeps my phone happy when I change out ROMs. In fact, it should be standard practice for installing a new ROM, IMO.

It is amazing to me how people refuse to read. If you saw Pete's original post it says in big bold red letters to WIPE DATA AND CACHE. This should be the routine everytime you change ROM's along with making a Nan:mad:droid backup. That way if something does go wrong you can revert back to a previous backup that you know is stable .
