Boston bombings; post-arrest non-political discussion

Another story of someone helping, which I am sure many of you have heard about it already..
A man by the name of Carlos Arredondo, better known as the man in the cowboy hat, was standing at the finish lines watching the marathon. Some say he was there handing out American flags, but thats not what the focus of this story is. Once the explosions went off, Carlos ran towards the blasts to offer any help he could. He can be seen in many pictures helping lift debris off injured people. He went to the aid of people laying in the street, using his shirt as a tourniquet to help control the bleeding of a man. Doctors say he saved one man's life, by pinching the man's arteries together with his bare fingers while the man was being wheeled to an ambulance.
That there is evidence that when there is evil, good is not absent.

The guy in the wheelchair right there had the backpack from suspect 1 placed right at his feet.

Reports are saying he was instrumental in the investigation as he was able to ID him from the hospital bed. Unfortunately that photo was seen by his family and was the first word they had gotten about him being one of the injured. Probably not how you want to be informed.
