Well after reviewing a lot of aftermarket extended batterys.... a lot of people seem happy with the ebay batterys for the price to my surprise. I bought these

2X New 3500mAh extended battery for sprint HTC EVO 4G | eBay

My question is ... does anybody know a case that will fit over this? I know laza makes there own batterys and neoprene cases ... but not sure if one would fit on this. There all shaped different as far as the back covers.

The Laza case will fit this battery. Also gorilla gadgets makes a hard case that would fit as well. Moretalktime.com also makes a tpu case that will fit. None of them are perfect but are better than nothing. I have the tpu case and it fit very well but the cutouts are too small and is hard to push any buttons. The silicone case is okay but not as firm as I would have liked. The hard case leaves the top and bottom of the phone exposed.
