Help Bought unlocked phone, can't update it.

My wife's Glide started having trouble receiving calls. Sometimes it would get the call and then randomly, it just wouldn't get the call. So, I bought a used, unlocked Glide off the internet. It seems the phone came from Canada and was used on something called Rogers Wireless. There's no mention of AT&T on it.

It works with her AT&T SIM card but it is at android 2.3.5. Her old phone was running 4.0.4. On this new phone, there is no menu item for Software Update. There doesn't seem to be a way to get it to update.

Am I missing something or does this sound correct?

It's probably correct. Since it's Rogers hardware, look for a Rogers ROM at SamMobile Firmwares and install it using Odin (or if the line has an orange box at the right end, using Kies).
