Root Brand New evo, quick questions about rooting

Been searching all morning around the forums but cant find enough answers to satisify myself before i do it...

-Can i just use Unrevoked and thats it ? Or do i need to do a backup and hboot first? Thats what i dont get exactly.
-I have the 3.7 version installed with 2.10hboot

The newest version of unrEVOked is all you need. Make sure to read their FAQ and download any necessary drivers, also make sure HTC Sync isn't installed on your computer. unrEVOked 3.31 will do everything else. Make sure you do your homework, but have fun!
