I'm not sure what has happened but my battery is dying today and is pretty hot and this is what's doing it. Where could this have come from and how do I get rid of it?
 
I'm not entirely sure what it is, but it seems to be something to do with Bluetooth. Toggle your Bluetooth on and off, maybe even airplane mode too, and see if that helps.
 
Thanks for chiming in. I think it was associated with bluetooth. I couldn't even toggle bluetooth off and on. I'm running a JBSourcery rom and noticed on their thread that they've had bluetooth problems with the stock kernel. I installed another kernel and the problem has been resolved.
 
I can confirm that it is related to bluetooth. With bluetooth enabled, not "connected" to anything, I lost 55% of my battery in 3 hours. I'm going to turn off bluetooth and see if this fixes the issue.
 
im on jb sourcery 3.2 (4.1.2) using zenseries kernel v8 (4.1.2) and i toggle airplane mode on at night and back off in the morning when i take the phone off the charger and bcrm patchram plus snacks on my battery when i do tht...that damn airplane mode...reboot is a quick fix...
