I have tried renaming the sbf up to DX123.sbf right now. I tried uninstalling RSDLite and went back to 4.8 to see if that would free things up.

I have been swapping out wife's battery so I am on on this part. I can't get to anything on my device i have bootloader 30.04

Code corrupt

Battery OK

OK to Program

Connect USB

Data Cable

Please....my phone is going down the drain......

Thanks

You need to make sure you have the current drivers and that you are running RSD Lite in "administrator" mode (right click on it and select administrator). Also, re-download your SBF file from here http://bit.ly/hfp9iY. Sounds like you have a combo of bad drivers and a bad SBF file. Also, use RSD Lite 4.9. I do with windows 7 and have never had a problem.

On XP, in VMWare on a 10.X Mac, long story there, but I had successfully SBF'd before. I'll try to get a good SBF, and go back to 4.9.

Thanks...

If that doesn't work go the linux route. I can get you set up for that since that's what I do with my mac.

Ok then.....mac is outside my area of expertise. Good luck to you..I know give the floor to our reident mac experts.

I have sbf'd my phone about 15 times and I went to do it again tonight and the battery went low while flashing and it says "code corrupt" "battery low" and will not charge, flash or do anything... Good news is..... I have a new one already on the way because the screen is crapping out.. YAY!!!

Which I think aggie is about the only mac expert... but he's right about the linux thing if a fresh SBF file doesn't work...

Dude -

Thanks - I might try beating my head on that wall sometime, but it was the Moto driver that was the culprit. I am back on-line.

Thanks to all! I love this forum.....:)
