Help Bricked LG Volt?

I bought an LG Volt from Best Buy around mid-August and I've never had any trouble with it until today. I was using Dolphin Browser on data with about 9% battery and it froze for a while and then the screen shut off and now my phone won't turn on. I flashed the v3 ROM from the all things root forum that had the pre-root and everything. I also installed xposed. There was no indication that it was going to shut down. I've had the phone plugged into power for about an hour but there's no lights like when you usually charge it. I get no response when hold any of the buttons or when I plug it in to my computer other than "USB not recognized". Any help in rescuing my beloved phone would be much appreciated. Thank you

May be silly question but did you try taking the battery out for a minute then charge?

Yup. Took it out for an hour and then charged for overnight. Do phones randomly get bricked like this?

I've seen your symptoms described elsewhere on here though, and I feel certain they got fixed somehow. Have a look around...

I've seen threads where DL mode works but I'm not getting any response from my phone. Some people over at Yahoo describe the same thing where their phones just stopped working through normal use. Thankfully Virgin Mobile was kind enough to honor the 1 year warranty even though my phone was rooted. Should be getting a new Volt by Friday
 
I dont think they care much anymore because of the insane replacement charge they do now..... its 100% profit just so you dont have to go directly through LG... If my phone breaks im getting a note on my girlfriends plan with at&t
