Root Bricked! :o

If you followed the way it tells you to do it, I dont see how that happened. Try redownloading the rom and unzip it and retry it again.

Wiggling the USB or having a corrupt file can do a lot of bad poop to go down.
But normally bricked would refer to a bootloop of death or a non-booting situation.
The phone can't be flashed with the rom in either of those conditions.

If you can get into download mode check the "[Odin]return to stock" thread and try that out.

Wouldnt a factory reset may be able to help also. I know I used to play around with my androids in the past and have bricked many of my own phones just for playing around in stuff I knew nothing about and sometimes a full wipe/factory reset would help me get back. First android Ive ever bricked was the g1 lol. With the phone of press volume down, back and power. Once in the recovery mode press volume down to wipe/factory reset, press home to select. Scroll down to yes and select, then reboot.

No. Factory reset only removes user installed apps and data. It won't restore system programs or files.

I can't believe there hasn't been a single dev in this thread by the way.

Thanks.
It just helps alot for someone who has a base of reputation to say something.
I'm just a super troll really, I wander about and sponge up info and regurgitate it on demand :D

actually a wipe is sometimes nessecary and can fix bootloops. all depends on how you got there. when installing stuff like this a stock to deodex a wipe is usually required to clean out cache and stuff :)

but yea, in the worst case try odin :)

Hello Everybody, I accidently bricked a samsung admire. Is there anyway I can unbrick it? Or is there no way back?

Try turning on your phone and connect your usb cable to your admire and start run.bat from your desktop. Your phone should reboot and shouldn't be bricked. I hope this helps :)

I dont think this person phone is bricked anymore. They have posted in other threads since after this. Wish they'd share what happened and what they did to fix it so we can all have for future reference and others that may come seeking for the same thing. I dont know what I did besides change the fonts on my phone right now and my phone just went into a loop of fc's. Lucky me I have a backup, I just restored it and now I know not to do that again lol.

no one has bricked their phone.

only way your doing that is by using rom manager. bricked means you cant recover, ever. no download mode just a black dark screen
