Root bricked tf300

whats up guys? Im a noob here. I bricked the hell out of my tf300. Stuck at asus screen, no recovery, can't even turn it off, no fastboot, no apx, nothing in device manager on pc. Ive given up hope of unbricking it. Should i swap out the motherboard, or put my screen and digitizer in another tf300 that i can buy for about the same price as a motherboard? Can a guy like me without any special skills or tools even accomplish a task like this?

I saw a post over at XDA were a guy bought a motherboard for around $95. That may be your best bet.
