Help bricked the unbrickable?

so i rooted, no problem. went to flash, problem. was watching a video and couldn't tell, once in clockworkmod recovery, what to push. did what i though was right and came to the screen where it says samsung/www.samsungmobile.com. phone has stayed there ever since. when i get to cwm recovery i don't know what to go to. i've tried several different things. one problem might be when i put the rom on my sd card it was already unzipped. i'm thinking when i tell it to unzip there is nothing to unzip. i can go to the rom. click on it and there are the files - data, etc, kernel_update, META-INF, sdcard, system, & tools. i've tried them all. please help.

Put the .zip file on your SD card (make sure it's for the Epic). Wipe data, cache and dalvik cache three times. Then install the .zip from your SD card

ya, i didn't have the zip on the sd card. had to put the card in a reader then put zip files. it worked. thank you very much. now i'm in business.
