Root Bricked using MeanROM

I was using the latest version of MeanROM. I was getting the usual "SMS Radio Shortage" bullshit, texts weren't sending or receiving. So I tried the ##CLEAR#, pressed Menu and pressed reset. It asked me for a password, which I left blank and pressed OK. It re-prompted me so I clicked Okay and the thing then said "Resetting" and reset and never booted back up. Not knowing what to do, I tried flashing JMZ Stock De-Odex. I'm trying to avoid losing my /data because I have a lot of texts and stuff I simply don't want to lose. Its stuck at the startup logo. Just like MeanROM. Should I format my system? Can I avoid formatting my data? SUGGESTIONS?!

I'm S-OFF running JuopunutBear HBOOT-1.57.5757

Issue fixed, had no choice but to format my data partition. I think it has something to do with a stock app I may've uninstalled.

The "password" it was referring to is your MSL number. Go to the play store and get MSL Reader. Run it, and jot down your 6 digit number. This is what is needed to reset your phone using ##CLEAR#.

The Stock rom will not work on the ENG Hboot.
My best guess is that you had an error and when you flashed the stock rom you made things worse.

You should have re-flashed Meanrom. That would have preserved everything and likely fixed the error. Swapping roms and trying to preserve data is a bad idea.

You might want to look into "Backup to Gmail", it will backup your SMS messages regularly as well as some other vital data. Your contacts however should have been preserved anyhow.
