I feel like an idiot but I can't find if there is a simple solution to this... My Note DRAINS battery when I have the brightness up high, but if I don't and go outside, I can't see the screen at all in the sunlight. I would think that on automatic, if it's really bright outside, the screen would adjust higher, but it never does.
Right now I'm using Waze, and even if I have the Note plugged in while driving, I still end up losing battery charge rather than gaining. On a 30 minute drive I usually lose 4-5%, which means on longer trips I would be out of juice.
How can I get the screen to either perk up better in bright light, or is there a setting to get the screen to stay dim and perk up in a touch it or something?
