Help Brightness not available

So I was going to root but then discovered I can't because I have the tmobile one. I had already gone into the downloader mode and then exited by turning it off. Now my screen is dim and when I go into settings I can't access the brightness. I just did a reset and still nothing.

Have you checked for a brightness slider on you Notifications drop down too? I have a t-mobile too and the brightness options are in both places.

I did a reboot and it came back
