Brightness problem

This has happened sinfe I first bought the phone. My brightness seems to go from being very bright to dimbthen back to bright randomly... and its not on automatic brightness either. I have it max brightness. I was wondering if this has happened to anyone else?

Yeah it happened to me a few times. I have it on about 25% non auto and it will just go to Max brightness. I just go back and readjust it. It doesn't happen often enough to worry about tho.

Hopefully someone on here knows a fix.

Edit - hey man this is a long shot but do you use boat browser by any chance? I noticed on the few times it happened to me is right when I open my browser. Coincidence maybe but somewhere to start.

Yeah it usually happens when I open any browser

juice defender will disable any auto brightness and itll adjust btightness to ur settings according to ambient light
