What do you guys have your brightness set to? Also, how much would it benefit my battery life if I take off auto-brightness?

I turn it all the way down until I need it. I rarely need it bright. Only in bright sunlight can I not see the screen when it's turned all the way down.

I leave mine on auto. It also seems to turn off the back light on the keyboard when in the sun.

Here's one- try an all-white wallpaper on your Droid.. When I do I notice the bottom 3/8ths of the screen has a greenish hue to it and is slightly dimmer. Is this normal or do I need to think about exchanging for another Droid before my backlight goes bad?
