Help Bring back dual capture!!!

So, I got a brand new HTC One M8 (wooop!) and then we had new updates just yesterday, and the camera has lost the dual capture feature and instead got the split capture, which I hate. I liked having a little box of my face, while big screen capture for the rear camera, whereas now my face is huge and I don't like the way it captures....

I know it's very early days, but does anyone have a clue as to how to bring back the small box for front camera, instead of half split with the rear one?

I haven't got root and I have it as a contract phone, so don't want to mess with it too much...
