Hi guys

I have a problem with my one x+. I tried to update it to jelly bean 4.1.2. But did something wrong I have flashed phones before but something went wrong this time and now I have no os on the phone. And like a nob didn't do a backup. Can anyone help or is my phone dead for good.

Please help

Thanks

It was a custom rom. I can get into boot loader but can't put anything on the storage so can't reflash I can get to team win recovery but I can't put any ROMs on the storage so can't use team win. Will I have to send it back ?

Thanks

Head in to Recovery, head to the Mounts & Storage Menu, connect the phone to your PC, then select Mount USB.

Does it appear as a hard disk on your PC?

nothing is on it as far as i can see i cant format it or anything. the other screen i can get o on the htc is the black screen with htc in the center

You might be able to push a ROM to the SD Card with ADB?

Whilst any files it mentions will be One S specific, if you replace with a One X+ ROM, that should set you straight.

Failing that, we'll need to look for an RUU I think.

*facepalm* you CANNOT mount usb on the X+ AT ALL, it's a downside to MTP, so either sideload or adb push\pull
