Not an easy fix, why don't you give Virgin a call, they're extremely lenient with replacement phones. The worst that can happen is that they say no. BTW, the only part that has the esn is the nvram chip in the phone. Not something that you could swap out anyway seeing that it's a bga chip on the main board, impossible to replace unless you have a $400 + micro soldering station and at least 10 years of experience.
