Root Broken Calendar and Gmail Sync Fix FOUND (process com.process.framework.gapps error)

Edit: Found a simple and working fix for this problem

Rooted my phone and flashed BACKside IHO

Everything seems to be working great except one minor app. The Calendar app does not work. When I click the app, I get an error message

The application Calendar (process com.android.calendar) has stopped unexpectedly. Please Try Again


Is there any fix I can do?

You likely have a bad flash. Check your downloads md5 and reflash

This problem was apparently linked to the "process com.process.framework.gapps" error.

I found a simple fix for this from another forum while searching at work on my phone. Works to fix calendar app and Gmail

1. Turn off sync - you can do just google calendar (This is faulty one)
2. got to settings ->apps -> manage apps -> all
3. find calendar storage -> clear cache -> clear
4.find calendar sync (settings-> accounts and sync->click on gmail and turn off sync)
5. Reboot Phone
6. Re-enable Sync

Everything seems to work fine for me now and no need to reflash any roms!

Thank you sir! I am glad to have added back something (though probably not the first to post this here) to the community. Rooting my phone is almost as good a decision as the one to buy it!

Greetings

Instead of clearing the data from Calendar Storage, I deleted it. Titanium Backup just hangs when I try and restore it again from my backup.
Now I get a sync error and the google calendar will not sync with any android calendar apps.

Is there anywhere I can download the stock app from?
Or another option?

I don't know if this will work for your Motorola, we're all LG junkies, but you could try flashing gapps for cm7.
