Charge port broke. Took bits of the mobo with it, so I couldn't even think about trying to solder it back on. So off to Sprint. They didn't notice I had rooted until after the guy swapped me phones, so now I have a refurb one.
Anyway, the reason for this thread is that the new one didn't look like it had a speaker in the back. There's a big open area behind the screen where the speaker was on my old phone. But lo and behold, when I play sound, it comes out of that hole in the back. My first EVO was hardware 0003, and this one is 0004. Did they make a tinier speaker for that version or something? I don't feel like cracking the new phone open since nothing is actually wrong... but seriously. WHERE DOES THE SOUND COME FROM?
