Help Broken Charging Port

Is there anyway I can fix my EVO V's Charging port? I tried to ask VM if they would fix it and told me that I have no warranty so it wasn't their problem.

It no longer chargers my phone. And it's kinda a pain to get in.

Has it receded inside of the housing of the phone? You may need to take it apart and see if you can move it back where it should be, carefully. I don't see how it could have fallen inside the phone unless someone was rough with it.

If it's just loose I get that issue too. I take off the back cover and bend the two bottom metal flaps of the charge port upward.
This tightens the grip like new and lasts a while. I usually have to tighten it back up every 3 or 4 weeks.

Not sure if it's loose but all I know is that it's dead and no longer charges my phone.
